  • Conducted and coordinated , as Principal Investigator , the first ever Pan-Indian Multicenter research trial in Pediatrics across twelve neonatal units in India.- ( Role of Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor in Neonatal Sepsis).
  • First published Indian work on “Surfactant Replacement therapy in Neonatal RDS” in India.( Indian Pediatrics , Aug.1994 ).
  • Areas of Research are primarily on Surfactant Therapy, neonatal Ventilation and Neonatal Sepsis. Publications / Presentations Total 58 publications  / abstracts .
  • Most important publications are on ‘Surfactant therapy’ in neonatal RDS, ‘GM-CSF’ in neonatal sepsis
