 MD (Medicine), DM (Cardiology), FNB (Interventional Cardiology)

He completed his DM Cardiology course from King George's Medical College, Lucknow in 1998. He worked as faculty in Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi and Christian Medical College, Ludhiana. In 2001, he joined the faculty of Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre, New Delhi as Consultant Cardiology. He was the first cardiologist to be awarded the Postdoctoral Fellowship of National Board in Interventional Cardiology instituted by National Board of Examinations. He has independently performed various vascular interventions including coronary angioplasties, balloon valvotomies, peripheral angioplasties including renal and carotid angioplasties and congenital interventions including PDA and ASD closures. He has special interest in electro-physiology study, radio-frequency ablation and device implantation including permanent pacemaker implantation. He has presented complex cases and innovative techniques in various national and international conferences. He has an excellent academic track record with more than 80 publications in several national & international journals.
