Previously worked as Head of Orthopaedic Unit at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi and Locum Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at St. James Hospital, Dublin, Ireland.Received Orthopaedic training in England and Republic of Ireland for more than 6 years. Did various courses and fellowships in USA, Germany, England, Brazil, Australia and Thailand.

Minimal Access Spine Surgery.Joint Replacement. SPINE SURGERY:Received highly specialized training in Spine Surgery in Dublin, Ireland & England. Introduced Endoscopic Microdiscectomy for Disc Prolapse in India for the first time. Organized number of workshops on Spine Surgery and have been on teaching faculty for number of conferences/workshops. His paper entitled "Why Anterior Approach to Spine" was awarded Best Paper Award in Annual Orthopaedic Conference in 1996 in New Delhi Invited to deliver prestigious Guest Lecture on "Management of Thoracolumbar Fractures" in Annual Conference of Indian Orthopaedic Association in 2003
JOINT REPLACEMENT:
Has been doing Joint Replacement Surgery for over 15 years ever since Ihe started the same in England from 1988 and later in Dublin, Ireland upto 1994. Upon his return to India, this work was continued when he was Head of Orthopaedic Unit at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi and later Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Batra Hospital, New Delhi followed by Apollo Hospital, New Delhi
Wrote a thesis on Revision of Hip Replacement in University of Liverpool, England in 1988.
On teaching faculty of various conferences and workshops on Joint Replacement in India & abroad. Invited to Indonesia for Golden Jubilee Orthopaedic Conference & demonstrated Live, Total Knee Replacement and Total Hip Replacement there. This conference was graced by the presence of President of Indonesia.
TREATMENT OF FOREIGN DIPLOMATS :
He has been treating foreign diplomats from various Embassies. Operated on the wife of Deputy Chief of Mission, US Embassy, New Delhi, son of Ambassador of Kuwait in New Delhi, and the wife of Ambassador of Chile in India. In addition, he has operated on many other Diplomats from different countries including Canada, Germany, France & U. K.
