Achievements:

Dr. M. Ramesh has performed more than 8000 advanced laparoscopic surgeries, which include Oesophagectomy, Fundoplication, CBD exploration, Nephrectomy, Splenectomy, Adrenalectomy, Hemicolectomy, A-P Resection, Total Colectomy, Pancreatic surgery, Pelvic lymphadenectomy, Thoracoscopic surgeries and many others. He was the first to perform some of these surgeries in the whole of South India. Pioneered Hand Assisted Laparoscopic surgery for splenectomy, colectomy and donor nephrectomy in India, since 1997.

He has presented over 65 research papers and videos in Conferences at the State National and International levels both in India and abroad. Has won several best paper awards in National Conferences. Has been invited to chair several scientific sessions and deliver guest lectures in national and international conferences including the World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery.
