Dr. Shrihari Dhore-Patil, an eminent gastro-intestinal, laparoscopic and obesity surgeon is India’s first surgeon in this line. He has undergone training under Dr. Andrew Jameisson, Australia and has been performing surgeries for the last 20 years. Further training in Switzerland and France followed this training. Dr. Dhore-Patil is an official member of the International Federation Of Surgery for Obesity, which is an extremely challenging field.
